By visual verification, qualitatively proves that Presents of mold increases resistance.
Combining data from image processing and resistance measurement, Data analysis sub-group has found that there is an approximate linear relationship between pixel count and resistance. Thus the combination of the 2 methods are effective to prove that there is a positive corelation between the amount of mold and resistance measurement
Future Improvement
1.Taking more samples with different amount of mold to achieve a better spectra of data
The results we achieved above are from 35 data points. More data points could be better.
2. Control experiment in the actual neighborhood
By conducting a controlled experiment in the neighborhood and a place with ample green space(e.g. Piedmont Park) to monitor the air quality of the neighborhood.
